Kathryn Jacobsen of Bourbonnais, IL, graduated from Lakeview College of Nursing during the College's spring commencement ceremony held in Danville, IL. Jacobsen earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree through the College's Charleston Campus.

Jacobsen is a 2008 graduate of Bishop McNamara Catholic High School in Kankakee, IL.

She is the daughter of Dale Jacobsen and Michael Jacobsen of Bourbonnais, IL.

Lakeview College of Nursing is a single-purpose, private institution that has specialized in nursing education in the Danville, IL area since 1894. Lakeview began offering a cooperative program with Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, in the fall of 2001.
