Michelle Maxwell of Hoopeston, IL, graduated from Lakeview College of Nursing during the College's fall commencement ceremony held in Danville, IL. Maxwell earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree through the College's Danville location.

Maxwell is a 1995 graduate of Hoopeston Area High School. She earned an associate degree in nursing in 2009.

She is the daughter of Tony and Cindy Miller of Hoopeston, IL and Chuck and Debbie Maxwell of Rossville, IL.

Lakeview College of Nursing is a single-purpose, private institution that has specialized in nursing education in the Danville, IL area since 1894. Lakeview began offering a cooperative program with Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, in the fall of 2001.
